  • ENTRANCE, was a temporary public artwork set in suburban Burnley where regeneration is a dominant theme. This artist-led project aimed to stimulate interest in the neglected suburbs as a place for public art.

The experience of encountering ENTRANCE modelled the process of change itself, whilst its form had emerged from research into Burnley’s industrial past, in particular the arches found in lime kilns, canal bridges and mine workings.
